MONITORING AND MENTORING OF CCE

A one day workshop for Monitoring and Mentoring of CCE was organized by the CBSE on the 13^th of March, 2010 in the campus of IIIM, Jaipur. 

Dr. Ashok Gupta, a member of the governing body of CBSE played host and welcomed the principals of various schools across Rajasthan. An enthusiastic class of approximately 100 principals attended the workshop. 

The newly appointed chairman of CBSE Mr. Vineet Joshi graced the occasion with his presence. 

The resource persons were Dr. Sadhana Parashar - Education Officer (Long) CBSE,    Mr. P. Mani – E.O. CBSE, Mrs. Nillima Sharma – Executive E.O. Director of Education, Delhi and Dr. Sujata Das E.O. CBSE.  

The main objective of the workshop being to initiate and further strengthen the CCE programme in various educational organizations. In view of the above the board identified certain schools that would take the lead and see to it that CCE is inculcated in the true sense of the word.  

Although in its infancy, CCE has to be nurtured with a collective effort. 

In the words of Dr. Sadhana Parashar the workshop was very promising as it met with another successful milestone in the implementation of the CCE programme.
