INTER HOUSE MULTILINGUAL POETRY RECITATION COMPETITION - 2011
Date : 10th August, 2011
Inter House Multilingual Poetry Recitation Competition was held on 9th August, 2011 in the school auditorium. The students of various houses participated with great enthusiasm. Poems from various languages like English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Japanese and French were recited. It was an assiduous task for the judges to decide on the winners.

INTER HOUSE GROUP & SOLO DANCE COMPETITION 2011 

 

Auditorium and the participants were judged by some of the well known artists in this field. The competition had 02 segments, beginning with the Solo, followed by the Group Dance. There was also an added attraction to this competition. There was a lively presentation by the students of the Gurukul. The Principal Dr. Ashok Gupta gave away the prizes.
INTER HOUSE GROUP & SOLO SONG COMPETITION 2011
Inter House Group Song & Solo Song Competition was held on 23rd April, 2011. The competition was divided into 02 segments followed by the Gurukul Inter-class song competition. In the Group Song, Tulips emerged as winners followed by orchids as the Runner up team. In the Solo again Tulips stood first followed by orchids. The Principal, Dr. Ashok Gupta gave away the prizes.
INTER HOUSE HINDO DEBATE COMPETITION – 2011
Inter House Hindi Debate was held on 22nd July, 2011 and the topic of the debate was ‘orZeku esa yksdiky fcy dsk fdz;kfUor djuk rdZ laxr gS’. Manu Sharma of Tulips got the best speaker for the debate and Shrishti Bhageria of Daffodils got the best speaker against the motion. The orchid was declared the overall winner.

INTER HOUSE ENGLISH DEBATE COMPETITION – 2011

 
Inter House English Debate was held on 26th April, 2011 in the School Auditorium. The topic of the debate was ‘The Government alone is responsible to increase literacy rate in the country’ and the eminent judges were all educationists well adept in their fields. Abhi Gupta of orchids was adjudged the best speaker for the motion and Chhavi Singh of Daffodils, the best speaker against the motion. Orchids, bagged away with the overall trophy.
 

INTER HOUSE COMPUTER QUIZ
 
The Interhouse Dance Competition was held on Tuesday, 3rd May, 2011 in the new IIS Auditorium. The participants were enthusiastic and their hard work ignited the show. The competition had two segments, begining with Solo, followed by Group Dance. There was an added attraction to the show - a lively performance by the students of Gurukul. The competition was a grand success. 

The Principal, Dr. Ashok Gupta announced the results. In the Solo round, Harshil Kalia of Orchids stood I(First) and Nehal Rajwanshi of Daffodils stood II (Second. In the Group dance category also, Orchids once again took the lead. There was a tie between Daffodils and Tulips as the Runner Ups.
