IIS OBSERVES WORLD AIDS DAY

The world observes 1 December as WORLD AIDS DAY. In school, the students were briefed about the necessity to observe this day, and its theme for the current year. 

The session included the following sub-topics.

1. What is AIDS?
2. How is AIDS caused?
3. The structure of the causal HIV virus.
4. How does the virus weaken the immunity system?
5. The different ways through which the HIV is transmitted.
6. Why is the awareness regarding AIDS so relevant in the present scenario?

Various charts were put up on the notice boards to explain and protract the imprint of the topic.
