IIS GURUKUL - Teachers’ Day Celebration with Fervour

Teachers’ Day is a day when all the teachers are honoured for their dedication and hard work they put in order to groom a child.

The students in the IIS Gurukul celebrated teachers’ Day with great enthusiasm. A special assembly  was conducted by grade 10 students which started by the recitation of a prayer for the well being of the teachers.

Heart warming thoughts were expressed by the students through poems, talks, songs and stories.

This was followed by the request from the students to Madam Vice- Principal Manjari Sharma to express her views as to the significance of this day. The day will be well memorized forever as the children gifted potted plants as a mark of evergreen love and respect for their teachers.
