This year India International School went on a trip to AMRITSAR, DHARAMSALA, PALAMPUR, DALHOUSIE. It was an enthusiastic and energetic trip. The trip started on 23rd March, 2009. In Amritsar we were taken to Wagha Border creating a feeling of patriotism. Also we had a visit to the Golden Temple. It is beautiful. Inside it everything was gold plated. We had a visit to the Jallianwallan Bagh also. It has been developed very well. In Dharamsala we were welcomed with a very cold climate. Then, we were taken to the Shiva Temple and to Palampur which is famous for its tea gardens and tea factory. Dharamsala is famous for Tibetan traditional items. We were also taken to NADOI, a site of snow clad mountains all-round and to Dal Lake. Dalhousie was best among all. We visited Khajjiar which is like MINI NEWZEALAND and to Buddhist monastry. So on the whole, the trip was good and all enjoyed themselves to the fullest.
