FOCUS GROUP DISCUSSION BY BHASKAR GROUP

Looking at the needs of students who surf the net frequently the authorities of the Bhaskar Group have taken an initiative to launch a  website which would cater to the needs of the age group 8 to 15.

A random survey was conducted by Pranay and Disha from the Bhaskar Group in the IIS Campus which gave an insight into the surfing habits of children.

It was interesting to learn that a lot of children are pursuing their hobbies on the net. Besides many of them were availing the information on various topics and study packs for their development.

‘Something of everything’ quoted one student when asked about the attributes of a good site.

This activity enlightened us on the preconceived notion that most of the children are in chat rooms while on the Internet.

The sites frequented by the students are meritnation.com, face book.com, you tube.com, games.co.in, orkut etc.
