The seventeenth convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Open University

The seventeenth convocation of the Indira Gandhi National Open University was organized in the IIIM auditorium on February 18, 2006.

The convocation was held through teleconferencing mode via satellite. Dr. Anil Kakodkar, Chairman, Atomic Energy Commission and Secretary, Dept. of Atomic Energy Govt. of India was the Chief Guest and delivered the convocation address from Delhi.

Prof. Vasudev Devnani, Minister of State for Primary, Secondary, Higher, Sanskrit and Technical Education, Govt. of Rajasthan, was the guest of honour of the programme conducted at IIIM.

Dr. T.U. Fulzele, Regional Director, IGNOU Jaipur delivered the welcome address and briefed the audience about the progress & achievements of the Jaipur center.

Prof. Devnani congratulated the graduating students and expressed confidence that their IGNOU certifications will help them achieve their desired goals.

Dr. Ashok Gupta, Director, IIIM welcomed the esteemed guests and congratulated IGNOU and the passing out students for their success.
