IIIM organized a National Workshop on “Changing contours of IT Industry” on Saturday, 15 October 2005.
Mr. Manoj Tandon, Assistant Vice President, Computer Science Corporation India Pvt. Ltd., Noida enlightened the participants on the Latest happenings in the IT world.
The entire workshop was divided into three sessions. Session-I gave a macro view about the world of Information Technology.
Session-II focused on the coming war between MNCs and Indian IT Majors. Mr. Tandon threw light on the strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for the Indian IT industry.
Session-III was the most interactive session, which highlighted what the IT industry wants from its people. Mr. Tandon discussed the profile of an ideal IT recruit to acquaint the students with the requirements and develop the desired qualities in them.
In short, it was an informative workshop where Mr.Tandon gave enriching inputs on  various aspects of the current scenario in the IT industry.
