A three day orientation programme, Abhinandan, was organized for the B.Ed. and M.Ed. students at ICG Campus in the A.V. Hall to welcome the 9th Batch of B.Ed. and the 7th of M.Ed. students. On the inaugural day, the programme was graced by Dr. Sanjeev Bhanawat, Head & Professor, Centre for Mass Communication, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. Prof. Bhanawat highlighted the importance of good communication skills for teachers and encouraged the new entrants to make use of the opportunities available to them in preparing for this noble profession. The Director of the institute, Dr. Ashok Gupta welcomed the Chief Guest and the students. He wished them all the luck and emphasized the great responsibility entrusted upon them. Day two of the progamme was graced by Devrishi Kalanath Shastri, who addressed the students on the effectiveness of good pronunciation and diction.
The concluding day saw the
students and teachers celebrating Teacher’s Day with great zeal and
enthusiasm. The Principal of the Institute, Dr. Sunil Khurana
appreciated the students performance and encouraged them to work with
dedication and utmost sincerity. The entire programme was compered by
Dr. Shashi Yadav.
