Swine Flu Awareness Camp

The B.Ed. students of IIERD, Jaipur, organized an awareness camp on ‘Swine Flu’ on 28 February 2013, to celebrate the occasion of Science Day.

Two camps were held simultaneously in two neighboring schools i.e. Gyan Vidya Mandir School, Dadabari Kachhi Basti, Sanganer and Anil Bal Bharti School, Mahaveer Nagar, Jaipur. The teacher trainees first presented a short skit on ‘Swine Flu’, which was thoroughly enjoyed by the school children. This was followed by an interactive question answer session where our student trainees explained how this disease is transmitted, how one must take precautions and avoid coming in close contact with persons having Swine Flu. The school children benefited considerably and realized how important it is to follow a few simple rules and stay healthy.
