International College for Girls organized a guest lecture on “Translation, its types, process and various forms” for the students of Hindi department on 28th July, 2007 in the A.V.Hall.

Dr.Rajeev Lochan Nath Shukla, Reader, Hindi Department, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh conducted the lecture. Dr. Shukla is M.A, M.Phil, Phd in Hindi and M.Sc, M.Phil, Phd in Zoology.Many of his articles have been published in country’s popular magazines and books.  He has translated a number of  books and biographies from urdu, marathi etc.

Dr. shukla’s lecture was very informative. Students were made aware of the art of translation and its various patterns.The beneficiaries of the lecture included the faculty and all the students of the department of  hindi. Dr. Neerja Mehta was the coordinator of the guest lecture.
