“Marketing & Visual Merchandising”

A Guest Lecture was organized on 6^th October; 2008 by Department of Garment Production & Export Management & Fashion Technology in A.V. Hall.

Ms. Pallavi Vacchani; faculty in Management from INIFD (Jaipur) spoke on concept & importance of “Marketing & Visual Merchandising” in consumer’s day to day life.

In the beginning she made the students aware about the role of marketing environment, qualities of good retailer, communication and presentation skills, which all together seems to be important in this changing domestic & global scenario.

The lecture was followed by interaction with the students of GPEM and Fashion Technology. A round of question and answers about career prospects in the field of marketing & business wrapped up the enlightening session.
