Seminar on “Management as a Career”

A Seminar on “Management as a Career Option” with special focus on CAT was organized on 28th July, 2007 in International College for Girls  to make the students aware about the paper pattern, marking and syllabus of CAT. The resource person for the seminar was Mr.Rahul Gupta, Director, Time Institute.

Mr. Rahul not only told the students how to crack CAT  but also gave useful information regarding other M.B.A Entrance exams like M.A.T, RMAT and institute specific qualifying exams like SNAP, JMET, IBSAT etc.

Also he talked about the narrow and broad category of subjects                                                                                                                                                                                                                               provided by IIM’s and various Management colleges in M.B.A programme and suggested that students should opt what and what not for  specialization during their M.B.A course.

Another Director of the institute, Mr.Rahul Mahabir motivated the students by showing them an inspirational video saying that hard work, strong will and determination always leads you to success. He said that communication skills, team skills, leadership quality and networking are the things which you learn during M.B.A studies and these things help you  throughout your life not only in professional life and career but also in your social and family life.

In the question hour, the students enthusiastically raised various questions regarding management prospects and CAT and both the speakers resolved their queries with reasons and examples.
