A Guest lecture on Emerging Trends in Strategic HRM

A guest lecture was organized by Faculty of Commerce and Management (PG Studies in Commerce and Management Studies) on “Emerging Trends in Strategic HRM” by Dr. Atul Mitra, Associate Professor, University of IOWA, USA, for the students of MHRM, MIB & BBM on 3^rd August, 2009.  Dr. Mitra shared his views on Sustainable Competitive Advantage in Present Scenario and talked about application of VRIO Framework in Strategic HRM. He also conducted few exercises which students found very interesting. The lecture was followed by interaction with the students. A round of question and answers about career prospects in the field of HR wrapped up the enlightening session.
