Guest Lecture conducted by Dept. of CS &IT on 5st Sep.’ 09.

Mr. Manish Sharma- a connoisseur in the field of IT was invited to ICG on 5^th of September 2009. A “Project Development Manager” in Metacube Software Pvt. Ltd, Mr. Manish Sharma is a graduate in Electrical Engineering and an alumnus of IIM-Kolkata. The HOD of CIT department- Mrs. Anubha Jain, welcomed the guest speaker. He shared, with the BCA and MSc. IT students of ICG, some of the key aspects of developing a software project. He enlightened the students and the faculty of the CIT department with his well versed knowledge in the IT sector and also shared his long term experience in the technical industry. 

Various steps involved in creating the software project were explained thoroughly and he also gave an overview of the latest tools being preferred by the software and IT giants. 

The short and informative session was indeed very beneficial for all the students and this was well illustrated by the amount of participation.
