A Guest Lecture by Prof. A.K. Singh, Professor, IIT Mumbai was organized by the Department of Chemistry on the 4^th of August, 2007. Professor Singh talked on the topic, ‘Basics of Photochemistry’. The lecture began with a discussion on various branches of science in the field of light. The Professor explained the narrow barriers which demarcated the subjects, Photochemistry, Photo physics and Photobiology.
