Institutional Network celebrated its 23rd Foundation
Day ‘Scaling Heights’ on 16th July, 2013 with a blend
of nostalgia and exhilaration. The occasion was instilled with
immense, emotions and warmth by the presence of the esteemed
alumni members who belonged to batch 1999-2000. The programme
began with the traditional IIS ceremony of lamp lighting. The
Director Dr. Ashok Gupta, Sr. Vice Principal Ms. Mala Agnihotri
and the esteemed Alumni members illuminated the lamp.
The
cultural bonanza started with the Vandana, to seek the blessing
of the deities followed by a musical choir with an aura of
serenity. The performance dedicated to the Uttrakhand Sufferers
was really touching for every one present.
Later
showcasing the life of an IISian the students of class 12
perform a skit depicting ‘School Days’ which touched the hearts
of all the Alumni members. The Director Dr. Ashok Gupta
addressed the august gathering with words of praise and wisdom.
‘Reconnect 2013’- An interactive session was also organized
which enabled the students of class 12 to interact with the
alumni members and gained valuable information which would help
in their future prospects.
The entire programme was filled with moments of reminiscence,
some left with a lingering smile and some left with tears in
their eyes. |
