School trips
not only provide a visual experience to the students but
are also an interesting way to explore new things and
places. It enriches students’ knowledge and strengthens
the strong bond with the peers. Students of IIS,
Mansarover went on various trips to gain the
unforgettable experiences.
A group of 90 students from grade VI escorted by 3
teachers went for a tour for 01 night and 02 days to
Agra on 15th December 2018. It was an exciting and
informative trip for all. Students visited the Taj
Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri, and the Red Fort and were
mesmerized by the beautiful architecture of these
monuments.
Class 7 went for 5 days amazing trip to Ranakpur,
Kumbhalgarh, Udaipur and Mt. Abu. It was a fun-filled
road trip with singing and dancing and scrumptious
snacks and delicious food added to the merriment. The
beauty of Mana Hotel which was surrounded by beautiful
fountains was a relief to the soul. There were many
mirthful activities like the DJ party and bonfire. The
places visited were miraculous and the tour guide added
to the knowledge of the places visited. The trip ended
with the wonderful memories.
Jain Temple- Ranakpur, Museum of Maharana Pratap near
Haldi Ghati, Kumbhalgarh Fort, City Palace and Lakes
of Udaipur and at the end Mt. Abu, Sunset at Guru
Shikhar and world famous Dilwara Temple were the places
of visit that made the trip thrilling.
Students of class 8th were taken on a five day trip to
Shimla - Shoggi where they experienced many adventure
sports like night tracking , mountain climbing, valley
crossing, etc. Students had a visit to Shimla town which
was a mesmerizing sight for them. Shopping in Shimla
added to the fun .Camp fire and DJ were good leisure
activities. Students also visited Chandigarh and eye
catching places like rock garden, Sukhna Lake, etc made
the trip memorable.
Children came back enriched and energized from these
trips and look forward to more such trips in future.
