 DAY - 5

Experiencing Rajasthani Culture

Day 5 of the YLE meet started with a visit to Prakratik Chikitsalaya to get an insight into Naturopathy. It was followed by the conduction of a quiz to let the energized and enlightened minds recap all the past days discussions and gather information which might prove to be useful to them during their final presentation. A guest lecture by Dr Saurabh, a passionate follower and trainer of the renowned Art of Living was organized amidst the engagement of the students in making the final presentation so that all participants learn a stress free living through meditation and also know breathing techniques. The guest speaker created an environment of interaction and activity which prompted the student’s creative thinking abilities thereby easing their way to their presentation. After a long day of discussions, lectures, research and sharing was the time to experience the rich culture of Rajasthan at “Chokhi Dhani “ a gateway to Rajasthani culture. Students enjoyed the typical Rajasthani cuisine in a traditional way with the Rajasthani headgears where they experienced the words “Athiti Devo Bhava”. Mehndi designs, camel rides, Rajasthani dance, village ambience, lac jewellery, Rajasthani craft spellbound all, especially the foreign delegates. Everyone enjoyed the enriching experiencing.
